Idukki is locate in southern part for the Kerala the Location rounded the area of 5019 aq kms Blessed by by the Mother of nature , Iduki is the very famous for the first double curvature Arch dam in India and also the wild life . this district was formed on 1972 26th jan caving out Peerumedu , Davikulam and Udumbanchola from the erstwhile Kottayam district
And the underground power station is at Moolamattom beneath Nadukani hills. the Iduki wild life are covers the area around 7700 hectares with plenty of wild animals
and also having some lakes around those places, the reservoir should be taken from those dams and lakes.
