Lions motto is "We Serve" and that is what we do. Throughout the year we give up time to raise money for local charities, many of whom come to us for help for particular projects. We also have helped these charities in the past couple of years: * National Library for the Blind * The Stroke Association * Christies Hospital * Riding for the disabled * Other local organisations such as the Scouts and the ATC * Numerous individual requests to assist * Aquinas India Project * Genesis Breast Cancer Appeal
